Mission

Torrens Valley Christian School is built on faith in Jesus Christ, providing excellence in education and teaching servant leadership, compassion, respect and responsibility for the world in which we live.

Bali 2012

The aim of this trip is to raise cultural and spiritual awareness by allowing our students to observe traditional Balinese activities and participate in community mission/aid activities, under the auspices of the Protestant Church in Bali. Our Tour Group Leader, Mr Paul Clayton, is an experienced volunteer at Dhyana Pura College in Dalung (see map below) and will oversee the trip which will possibly include the following:

• experiencing Bali Life
• working with Balinese students in conversational English
• visiting community centres and orphanages
• outings to Balinese cultural events, including music and dance
• food appreciation
• worship in local churches
